Yonkers Family YMCA
The Clubhouse, serving adolescents (12 – 17 years of age) and young adults (18- 21 years of age), provides a safe and inviting place for adolescent youth and young adults to develop pro-social skills that promote long-term health, wellness, recovery and a drug-free lifestyle. The Clubhouse serves those have or are at-risk of a Substance Use Disorder.

- Inter-Group Association of Alcoholics Anonymous of New York (AA) is a self-help recovery program for those experiencing problems with alcohol use.
- Narcotics Anonymous (NA) is a self help recovery program for those experiencing problems with drug use.
- Al-Anon and Alateen is a self help program for family members and friends who are affected by a loved one's use of alcohol and drugs and does not work.
- Debtors Anonymous is an organization providing information and support for those experiencing problems with gambling.
- The Partnership for a Drug Free America provides specific information about different drugs and its effects, including strategies for keeping children drug free.
Medically Managed Detox Programs in Westchester County are for individuals 18 years and older. An adult would qualify for these services if he or she is intoxicated or on a substance and suffering from mild withdrawal complications.
The program provides a safe environment for the person to complete the withdrawal from substances while awaiting the referral to the next level of care.
The length of the detox process is generally three to five days.

Methadone programs are medical services designed to manage individuals addicted to heroin. Methadone is administered by prescription along with other services to control physical problems associated with heroin dependence.
The programs help individuals make major lifestyle changes over time. Methadone programs are open seven days a week, including holidays.

In Westchester County, there exists a network of Community Drug and Alcohol Prevention Coalitions whose mission is to decrease the number of children using drugs and alcohol, decrease the risk factors, and increase the protective factors associated with substance abuse use in children. Community Residences in Westchester County are for adults 18 years and older. Each facility offers a therapeutic milieu while the individual attends an outpatient program. The facilities are staffed 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Services offered at these residences include group, individual, and counseling.
If necessary, facility staff will try to assist individuals seeking alternative housing.
